The blog has been filled with lots of bright colours and bold decorations lately which may seem a little unusual for this time of year. With the notorious 'Blue Monday' earlier this month and the continuing cold and wet weather making summer feel like it's a decade away, choosing bright colours for your party may seem a little silly. So, you may find that if you are hosting a celebration at the moment that a slightly more muted colour palette would be more appropriate. That's not to say the decoration has to be dull, as this colour scheme shows, a softer colour has just as much impact as its brighter counterpart. And the contrasting white and blue cakes are fabulous!
